How to play MLB Career Path
One club from a mystery player's career is on the board to start, with the seasons he spent there. Name him off that alone and you have hit a home run. If you cannot, unlock another stint — but every stint you open walks the result down a base, from a home run to a triple, a double, a single and finally a walk. A wrong guess costs you a reveal too, so an uncertain swing is a real decision rather than a free one. Five reveals and the at-bat is over. One new career every day.
Strategy & tips
- The first club is usually the least famous one. A player's peak team is what you remember; his debut or his last stop is what identifies him.
- Read the years, not just the badge. A stint of one season in the middle of a career is a trade deadline move, and those narrow the field fast.
- An era-correct club name is a clue in itself. Montreal Expos means before 2005; a Washington Senators stint puts you before 1972.
- If you are certain, swing on the first stint. The difference between a home run and a walk is four reveals, and there is no prize for being sure later.

Yes. Stints are shown in career order with the seasons he spent at each.
Are minor-league or foreign clubs included?
No. Only major-league clubs appear, under the name they carried in the seasons he played there.
Statistics come from Major League Baseball and cover every player since 1871, including the Negro Leagues, which MLB recognised as major leagues in 2020.
