Privacy

Short version: there are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking cookies and no advertising. Nothing you do here is tied to you, because there is no you to tie it to.

What is stored, and where

Your results, streaks and the state of a puzzle you have part-finished are kept in your own browser's local storage, on your own device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and they do not follow you to another device or another browser.

We set no cookies of our own.

What our servers see

The ordinary things any web server sees when you request a page: your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser's user-agent string and the time. The site is hosted on Vercel and its database is Supabase; both keep standard operational logs for a limited period. We do not build profiles from them and we do not sell them.

When you submit a guess, the guess is sent to our server so it can be checked against the day's answer — the answer never reaches your browser, which is the only reason the games are not trivially solvable. The guess is checked and discarded; it is not stored against you.

Children

The site is a baseball quiz and carries no content aimed at children under 13, but it also collects nothing from anybody, so there is nothing to collect from a child either.

Changes

If this ever changes — if accounts arrive, for instance — this page changes with it, before the feature ships.
